He has Post Graduate Certificates in Financial Accounting and Capital Markets from University of Cambridge in UK and a certificate in Project Management Principles from Maryland State University in USA.
In the Social Development sector, he worked in senior positions in Project Management and Resource Mobilization with International NGO's like Actionaid, Goal and Development Aid from People DAPP.
Tatiana Chikhambi
Lead Engineer-Malawi 142MW Gas LNG Power Project
Graduate of Malawi University of Science and Technology MUST with an Honors degree in Chemical Engineering She is a dedicated renewable energy enthusiast. Recognizing the pivotal role of the youth in shaping Malawi's future and in the SADC region she is committed to fostering creativity and innovation among the youth. Her professional experience includes valuable contributions as a Chemical Engineer to both the food processing sector with Illovo Sugar Malawi (Plc) and Water Quality in the utilities sector having worked with Blantyre Water Board. Tatiana's expertise extends to energy engineering as she actively participated in an impactful research project during her undergraduate studies focusing on the development of a biofuel-powered stove as clean energy. These experiences have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of energy engineering, positioning her as a driven professional. Tatiana serves as Director on the Board of Aspin Energy Limited
Dr. Simon Tembo

Lead Engineer-Zambia 500MW Gas LNG Power Project
Dr. Simon Tembo is a visionary leader with over years of distinguished experience across corporate leadership ICT telecommunications energy regulation and academia. He has successfully combined years of executive management with years of academic leadership shaping national and regional policy driving large scale infrastructure initiatives and delivering transformative results in the energy and ICT sectors.
He served as Chief Executive Officer CEO of ZAMTEL where he led strategic transformation and operational optimization of Zambia s premier telecommunications company As Board Chairperson for COMTEL COMESA Telecommunications and Currently as Chairperson of the Zambia Grid Code Technical Committee Dr Tembo drove cross border telecom integration and power sector regulatory compliance At the continental level he was an inaugural member of NEPAD s African Centre of Excellence for Infrastructure Regulation ACEIR shaping regulatory frameworks for energy telecom transport and water infrastructure across Africa.
Currently Head of the Department of Electrical Electronic Engineering at the University of Zambia UNZA Dr Tembo has championed capacity building by designing six Master s degree programs in ICT Engineering and leading national ICT initiatives such as the ICT Conformance Interoperability Test Laboratory and ICT Network Planning Projects.
Academically he holds a Doctor of Engineering from Akita University Japan a Master of Engineering from the University of Electro Communications Japan and a Bachelor of Engineering from UNZA He is a Fellow of the Engineering Institution of Zambia EIZ a Senior Member of IEEE and a Registered Practicing Engineer with the Engineers Registration Board ERB With deep expertise in strategic leadership energy and ICT regulation business development and multi stakeholder engagement Dr. Tembo brings the proven ability to deliver innovative competitive and sustainable energy solutions positioning him as a transformational leader for the Independent Power Producer sector.

Eng. Welton is the Planning and Technical Expert who doubles as CEO for Zambia, managing Aspin projects in Zambia. He has 28 years of experience in the energy sector obtained in power system infrastructure development and planning working with state owned electricity utility in Malawi and he has experience in energy regulation with state owned Energy Regulatory Authority in Malawi and Southern Africa SADC region Holds a Masters inBusiness Administration (MBA) awarded by the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI) Business School. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering awarded by the University of Malawi MUBAS and a Diploma in Financial Management awarded by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Trained in Utility Regulation and Strategy with Public Utility Research Centre (PURC) at the University of Florida USA. Also trained in Cost of Service Studies with the Institute for Public Private Partnerships (IP3) in Washington

9yrs experience in Environmental Management, Monitoring and Waste Management. She has worked as an Environmental Specialist for ESCOM Malawi Mozambique Power Interconnector Project, Mpatamanga Hydro Project for Egenco, Malawi Public Private Partnership Commission Fibre Optic Cable project and several other World Bank and African Development Projects. She also worked as an Environmental officer for Lilongwe City Assembly, Chikwawa and Neno District Assemblies. Mr. Wimpy Van Niekerk is the Executive Chairperson of Aspin Energy having taken over from Mr. Reinford Mwangonde who has stepped aside to pursue other interests. Mr. Wimpy brings to Aspin Energy 20 years experience in the energy sector where he worked as a mechanical engineer. His experience includes the identification and implementation of energy efficiency projects and the development and implementation of renewable energy projects. He is the founder and CEO of Viridis Ipsum which identifies, conceptualizes, designs, funds and implements projects across the renewable energy sector in the Sub-Sahara, Africa Region. He holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the North- West University, Potchefstroom campus and he is also qualified as an Energy Management Systems Expert (ISO 50 001). Mr. Van Niekerk successful participated and completed a UNIDO funded post graduate course at the CSIR. He is a Certified Energy Manager International (CEMI) and a Certified Measurement and Verifications Professional (CMVPI) with the Association of Energy Engineers internationally. Mr. Van Niekerk is also a member of The South African Institute of Mechanical Engineering (SAIMechE), the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and a member of the Southern African Association of Energy Engineers Confederation (SAEEC). He brings to Aspin a vast experience in Management, technical know-how and networking.

Lodzani is a seasoned and experienced businessman with a focus in General Trading, Distribution and Property Investments. Lodzani is a self-made entrepreneur, having gained experience from an early age in the family-owned fishing business i.e., processing and exporting fish, before moving on to the supply and distribution of Salt, Soy Bean Cake, Fertilizers, and Cement. He is a versatile entrepreneur with a good eye at identifying and ceasing opportunities. He is quick at identifying gaps that require business solutions. He brings a wealth of experience that cut across a number of sectors of the economy and industry and his international network gives him an edge over his peers. Over the years, he has received several formal and informal training in procurement, sales and marketing. He holds a diploma in Theology in addition to Certificates in Procurement and Supply Chain Management. Mr. Lodzani is also a philanthropist and believes in giving and motivating others to succeed.
