1- Malawi 300MW- Phalula small scale LNG Power Plant
Aspin Energy Limited signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM) in February 2025 for 142MW small scale LNG Combined Cycle Gas Power plant with a commercial operation date COD of September 2026.
This PPA signing for 142MW is part of 300MW power supply Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which Aspin Energy signed with Ministry of Energy
Project site is Phalula in Balaka district in the Republic of Malawi. Energy will evacuate into the National Grid through Phombeya Sub Station.
2- Zambia-500 MW Gas Power Project
Aspin Energy in Partnership with Zaango in Zambia ( Zaango Aspin Energy) has signed Memorandum Of Understanding with Government of Zambia, through Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation (ZESCO) for 500MW Natural Gas power plants fired by Liquefied Natural Gas LNG.
Project sites are Chipata in Eastern Province and Kapiri Mposhi in Copperbelt Province. Target Commercial Operation Date is December 2025.
3- Angola-250 MW Gas Power Project
Aspin Energy Limited is pursuing a 250MW Liquefied Natural Gas fired plant in Angola.
The project site will be located at Futila Industrial Park in Cabinda province.
The Gas Turbine Generators will be supplied by General Electric GE Gas Power www.ge.com/gas.
4- Namibia-300 MW Gas Power Project
Aspin Energy Limited is pursuing a 300MW Liquefied Natural Gas fired plant in Namibia.
Proposed project sites are Henties bay, Swakopmund, Walvis Bay and Luderitz
The Gas Turbine Generators will be supplied by General Electric GE Gas Power www.ge.com/gas.
5-South Sudan-150 MW Gas Power Project
5. Aspin Energy Limited is pursuing a 150MW Liquefied Natural Gas fired plant in South Sudan.
Project site will be located in Juba the capital city of the country.
The project will be carried out in two phases. Installed capacity in the first phase will be 100MW and the remaining 50MW will be installed in the final phase.
