1- Malawi 300MW- Phalula small scale LNG Power Plant
Aspin Energy signed an MOU with Ministry of Energy to develop 300MW gas power plant in phases. PPA has been approved for 142MW small scale LNG Combined Cycle Gas Power plant.
The Gas Turbine Generators will be supplied by General Electric GE Gas Power. www.ge.com/gas Power plant constructio. will commence soon with a target Commercial Operation Date of August 2025.
Project site is Phalula in Balaka district in the Republic of Malawi. Energy will evacuate into the National Grid through Phombeya Sub Station.
2- Zambia-500 MW Gas Power Project
Aspin Energy in Partnership with Zaango in Zambia ( Zaango Aspin Energy) has signed MOU for 500MW Natural Gas power plants fired by Liquefied Natural Gas LNG.
The Gas Turbine Generators will be supplied by General Electric GE Gas Power www.ge.com/gas Project Development is underway.
Project sites are Chipata in Eastern Province and Kapiri Mposhi in Copperbelt Province. Target Commercial Operation Date is December 2025.
