1- Malawi-25MW Lake Malawi Floating Solar Power Plant
Aspin Energy is developing in a joint venture partnership with Darius a 25MW AC Floating Solar Power Plant on Lake Malawi in Karonga District in the Republic of Malawi. Technical Feasibility Studies have been completed and project development continues.
2- Zambia-20MW Eastern Province Solar Power
Aspin Energy Limited registered in Zambia as Zaango Aspin Energy Limited signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the government of Zambia through the power utility Zambia Electricity Supply Corporation (ZESCO).
Zaango Aspin will build, own and operate four 5MW solar PV plants connecting to Azele, Msoro, Chipata and Mfuwe Substations in Eastern Zambia.
The signing of the PPA followed the bidding process which Zaango Aspin Energy Limited participated, succeeded and was awarded. The commissioning of the plants is set for September 2025.
3- South Africa
Aspin Energy Limited is pursuing an exciting new project to deliver sustainable energy solutions customers in South Africa. Aspin will participate in a competitive bidding opportunity to procure on-site solar power from Eskom.
Aspin will develop a Liquefied Natural Gas fired power plant on customer site to ensure continuous and stable power supply
The Gas Turbine Generators will be supplied by General Electric GE Gas Power. www.ge.com/gas.
